Samba No Pe and Samba Reggae with Donna Mation of Vivan Los Elementos:

The roots of these dances are complex, the expression is filled with joy, earthiness, and rhythm.
In this class, we will dance Samba no Pé and Samba Reggae 
​
Samba no Pé, or Samba freestyles, is internationally known for being danced as part of the Rio Carnival. In this ongoing class we will learn the basic samba step as well as other foundational footwork you will find in Samba No Pé. 
Samba Reggae has influences from Samba no Pé, Orixa movement, and Samba de Roda, the original form of samba. It is fun, soulful, social, accessibly challenging, and a great workout! All levels are welcome!
