Help! Which pass is best for me?
I am trying a class for just one time, or traveling to Portland and would like to try a class...
Drop-ins would be your ONLY option. Month-long units do not allow drop ins. Please check our schedule to find a drop in class.
I am taking a "Unit" class for the month but no other classes...
4-Week or 5-Week Unit passes would be the ONLY option. Drop-in passes or punch cards are not allowed for Unit classes.
Please make sure to purchase the correct cycle pass: 4-Week pass for a month with 4 weeks or 5-Week pass for those with 5 weeks. We make sure to note the right pass on the schedule.
For 3-month intensive programs/units, the only pass is a 3-month contract.
I want to try several classes over the course of a few months...
5-Class or 10-Class Punch Cards would be best in this case. You save money and you have several months to use the pass. You can use these passes for drop-in classes but not month-long units.
I’m taking a class with my significant other...
Each student needs to have their own account in MindBody. Passes are not sharable (for example, you cannot share a 10 class card). If you’d like to pay for you and/or someone else, make sure to select the option "Pay For Someone Else" and enter their name at checkout.
For partner classes, please note you will both be rotating around to dance with other students, and you cannot stay with your significant other the whole class. This is very important for your learning growth.

For Partner classes, you may notice 2 options: 'Lead' and 'Follow' Passes...
'LEAD' vs 'FOLLOW' DEFINITIONS:
Traditionally in partner dancing, women have most commonly chosen the "Follow" role, and men have most commonly chosen the "Lead" role. Today, regardless of what gender (if any) you identify as, you can choose to Lead or Follow.
The LEAD in the dance works towards creating the movements and thinking ahead. They are responsible for their movement, and invite the follow into the movement with compassion and care, all while following the timing of the song.
The FOLLOW in the dance works towards living in the moment, releasing the urge to be "in charge," and responds to the requests of the leader's movements while staying on time and on balance.
Each role has unique responsibilities that have its own challenges. The Lead and the Follow work together to create the dance.
