BACHATA PROGRAM AT VMAC
WE HAVE TWO BACHATA PROGRAMS AT VMAC: MODERN BACHATA AND SENSUAL BACHATA. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR DESCRIPTIONS
We highly encourage all students new to VMAC to take these classes from level 1 Beginners, even if they have been social dancing before or taken classes at other studios, to get familiar with our studios, teaching style, vocabulary, our VMAC culture and community.
BACHATA 1 BEGINNERS
Consists of 3 one-month series: 1 Teal, 1 Orange, and 1 Navy
Not needed to be taken in any order, but all 3 series need to be completed before taking level 2 units. They're all good for beginners!
This class will introduce the basic steps, rhythm and body movement of Urban and Sensual Bachata.
Tuesdays 6:30pm
Pass depends on the month...
Requirements:

BACHATA 2 BEYOND BEGINNERS
Consists of 6 one-month series: 2a to 2f.
(Not needed to be taken in alphabetical order, but all 6 units need to be completed before taken level 3 series.)
This class will continue from where Level 1 left off introducing more fundamentals and concepts, working on rhythm and body movement.

Closed to the public - must be approved before taking this class.
The intensive includes level 2 and the intensive level 3 exclusive class. This program continues to develop body movement, footwork, and partnerwork technique. There are 2 series (3a and 3b), each of 3 months duration. Both series must be completed before moving forward.
We currently do not offer Level 3 by itself.
Requirement:
All 6 units of level 2 (2a-2f) and audition.
Closed to the public - must be approved before taking this class.

Followed by Practica from 7:30PM - 8:00PM.
