Inclement Weather Policy -
In the event of class cancellations due to severe weather conditions, there will be no refunds or credits issued.
Optional Makeup Classes: Instructors may offer makeup classes for sessions missed due to weather. If a makeup class is offered and you choose to attend, your payment for the cancelled class will be applied to the makeup session. Please note that this is at the discretion of the instructor and is not guaranteed.

To sign up for classes we require:

- All sales are final
- No refunds
- No extensions on expired passes
- Missed sessions with a unit pass do not roll over
SHARING PASSES -
- Passes cannot be shared or transferred
- Each student needs their own pass
EXPIRATION POLICY -
- Please review expiration date on each pass
- Specific expiration for each pass is listed in the Pricing chart
- No extensions on expired passes
- Misses sessions with a unit passes do not roll over
CANCELLATION POLICY -
- Group class or workshop registration can be cancelled up until 4 hours before class starts, and ONLY for drop-in passes or punch cards, to automatically return that pass into their VMAC account as credits for future use. If classes are not cancelled on time then you'll be charged as if attended. To early-cancel, please email or text us (we might now be available on the phones as we're closed during the daytime.)
- Monthly "Unit" passes are for the entire class/month/unit/series and cancellations do not get students any credit back even if a class is missed. Students may cancel up to 4 hours before the 1st session of a unit to automatically return that pass into their VMAC account as credits for future use.
- Private lessons need 24 hours notice with the instructor directly.
- Classes may be cancelled by the studio due to Holidays, weather conditions, instructor illness, or low pre-registration.

- For special workshops with guest instructors all sales are final and registration cannot be cancelled for credit at any point. You may give or sell your spot to a friend on your own and let us know of the change if you wish to do so.

AGE POLICY -
- We offer adults classes and we offer kids classes under our NextGen program.
- Adults are defined as 16+.
- Minors (16 and 17 yo) are required to have a parent sign a special liability waiver to attend adult classes.
- Everyone attending adult classes at VMAC may be asked to show proof of age.

Zero Tolerance Policy
This document outlines our ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY to harassment, violence and abuse. We are committed to providing safer and braver spaces, empowering everyone to report abuse.
Safer spaces
We cannot guarantee 100% safety but, we are committed to doing everything in our power by enforcing the #ZEROTOLERANCE principles.
Prevention: We are honest and clear about our expectations to prevent incidents of abuse.
Braver spaces
We believe in ally-ship and strongly encourage events attendees to be #ACTIVEBYSTANDERS.
Our aim: To create an environment where no one is afraid to speak out, take a stand and intervene in instances of harassment or abuse.
Response: We have established a reporting system and encourage victims and witnesses to report any form of harassment or abuse at the front desk. We will listen to each allegation and will support any person coming forward.
We are committed to stamping out harassment and abuse and will not hesitate to restrict entry or to remove any perpetrator from our event.
We believe in consent and aim to eliminate all types of inappropriate behaviour at our dance events Harassment is unwanted, offensive, intimidating or humiliating behaviour.
Violence includes verbal, physical, intimidating, abusive or threatening behaviour towards others.
Sexual abuse is unwanted sexual activity, with perpetrators using force or coercion, making threats or taking advantage of victims without their consent.
Consent is Freely-given Reversible Informed Enthusiastic Specific
Harassment, violence and abuse comes in many forms it includes but is not limited to:
● Unwelcome sexual attention / inappropriate touching without the other person’s consent
● Inappropriate sexist or racists jokes
● Showing sexual photos or videos, questions about a person’s sex life
● Sexual comments, requests for sexual favours, remarks about a person’s body
● Spoken or written abusive words
● Offensive physical gestures
● Actual physical harm
